This website is operated by BIT Consultancy (“we”, “us”). By browsing or using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. Wherever these terms are written in one gender or number, they apply equally to all.

2. The purpose of the site

The site presents information about BIT Consultancy, its people, its services and its publications. It is informational only.

3. No professional advice

Nothing on this site — including the articles, the publications page, the blog and the project descriptions — constitutes consulting, legal, diplomatic, engineering or any other professional advice, and it must not be relied upon as such. Professional advice is given only under a written engagement between BIT Consultancy and its client, tailored to that client’s circumstances. Any reliance on the content of the site is at your sole responsibility.

4. Accuracy of content

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information accurate and current. Nevertheless the content may contain errors or omissions, and may become out of date. We do not warrant that the information is complete, accurate or current, and we may change or remove content at any time without notice.

5. Intellectual property

All rights in the content of the site — text, images, design, layout, logo and code — belong to BIT Consultancy or to third parties who licensed it to us, and are protected by law. You may read the content, print it and quote from it for personal or professional non-commercial purposes, provided that the source is credited and that no alteration is made. Any other use — copying, distribution, publication, commercial exploitation or creation of derivative works — requires our prior written consent.

Academic papers referenced on the publications page remain subject to the rights of their publishers and co-authors.

The site may link to external websites that we do not operate or control. The links are offered for convenience. We are not responsible for the content, availability, security or privacy practices of any external site, and a link does not imply endorsement.

7. Contacting us through the site

When you send a message through the contact form you undertake that the details you provide are correct, and that the message does not contain unlawful, offensive or infringing content. Sending a message does not create any consulting relationship or obligation on our part, and does not oblige us to reply.

Please do not send confidential or sensitive material through the form. Information sent through it is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damage arising from use of the site or from inability to use it, including damage caused by faults, interruptions, or by reliance on the content.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from use of the site is granted to the competent courts of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa district.
